Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence’s private moment backstage

There was some confusion on stage before Emma picked up her award show trophy. Michelle Yeoh, who won the gong last year for her role in Everything Everywhere All At Once, was holding the statue.
But the 61-year-old awkwardly handed the Oscars statue to Jennifer Lawrence as she was on stage, so she could give it to Emma Stone.
However, she cleared up the moment on Instagram. Michelle explained she “wanted to share that glorious moment of handing over Oscar to you together with your best friend Jennifer!
“She reminded me of my Bae Jamie Lee Curtis – always there for each other!”
How sweet!
After walking off stage with her win, we see Emma grab Jennifer towards he for a hug, and the two push their foreheads together in a sweet embrace as J-law wraps her arm around her.
Forget celebrity couples, we love star pals more.

J-Law was brought to tears by Emma’s big win
As emotional as the night was, it seems Jennifer Lawrence was more chocked up than Emma Stone even though she won the oscar!
In photos you can see J-Law in absolute bits watching her friend give her acceptance speech. If that’s not women supporting women then we don’t know what is.
Emma’s speech began with her admitting her fashion number, her glamorous dress, was broken.
She said: “Hoo boy, my dress is broken. I think it happened during ‘I’m Just Ken.’ I’m pretty sure. Oh, boy, this is really, this is really overwhelming. Sorry. My voice is also a little gone, whatever! The women on the stage, you are all incredible, and the women in this category: Sandra [Hüller], Annette [Bening], Carey [Mulligan], Lily [Gladstone], I share this with you. I am in awe of you, and it has been such an honour to do all of this together. I hope we get to keep doing more together.”
She joked: “I don’t know what I’m saying.”
Emma explained she had been “panicking” over whether she’d win, but was told she needed to ‘take herself out of it”. The movie star said it was about the “team that came together to make something greater than the sum of its parts”.
“And that is the best part about making movies, is all of us together,” she continued. The 35-year-old paid gratitude to ‘every cast and crew member’ who worked on the project. She said: “And I am so deeply honoured to share this with every cast member, with every crew member, with every single person who poured their love and their care and their brilliance into the making of this film.
Emma ended the speech with an adorable tribute to her daughter. She told her she “loves her bigger than the whole sky”.
