No one does the mob wife aesthetic better than Sofía Vergara.
The actor showed off her sultry, luxurious style Tuesday night at the Miami premiere for her new Netflix series Griselda, held at the Fillmore Miami Beach. There, she reunited with costar and fellow Colombian Karol G, who also brought the drama with her own look.
Vergara walked the red carpet in a strapless golden column gown custom-made by Laura Basci, which featured a ruched detail at the bust. The Modern Family star accessorized with other golden pieces, including sparkly heels and a gold cuff encrusted with diamonds.
She went full bombshell with her glam, opting for bronzy makeup, beach waves, and a nude manicure.

Karol G, meanwhile, opted for a black monochrome fit composed of a ribbed leather corset top, matching leather pants, and witchy heels. The top was a zip-up number embellished with a whole bunch of curly faux fur along the chest and shoulders—very mob wife. And the pants featured lines of silver hole studs held together with leather laces along the length. (A similar style is on sale at Dolls Kill.)
The “Bichota” singer wore a three-strand diamond tennis bracelet and a chunky diamond ear cuff with the look. She had on rosy makeup, long black lashes, and a glossy nude manicure. Her blonde hair was slicked back into a tight ponytail.

Vergara plays not a mob wife, but the head of the mob, in Griselda. The actor takes the lead as Griselda Blanco in the Netflix show, which is based on the real-life Colombian cartel boss. Karol G plays a character named Carla, one of the women who works with Blanco.
The series will be available to stream starting tomorrow, January 25.
